Renaissance Havanese is a home, a family - not a kennel. I specialize in providing well socialized family companions, all puppies are released on a spay/neuter contract.
If you are looking to adopt a Havanese puppy right away, you may be disappointed to know that you may have to wait. The Havanese is a rare breed. Please, try to allow your better judgment to rule over timing and how adorable the puppy is during your search, I cannot stress how important this is. You may also want to be flexible with your preferences or may find that you have to wait even longer. Do not let this interfere with important issues such as health testing, this is important in the long run and can make a difference between happiness and heartbreak in the future. Your best option is to become pre-approved with a reputable breeder who meets all of your expectations and choose a puppy from the litter closest to your preferred time period.
My "recipe" for a great Havanese dog begins with outstanding pedigree, parents (sire and dam) who have passed rigorous health testing (beyond eye exams) and have sound temperaments. I add a lot of time and effort to ensure that the dam and her whelps are kept healthy and comfortable and that they receive the best Veterinary care, high quality, holistic food, immune system and digestive support while they are growing. Add pinch of patience, consistency, age appropriate socialization and gentle rearing techniques. The result? a healthy puppy with a great personality, one that is confident, social and content.
If all of these factors are important to you, then you are important to me. Only exceptional families are chosen to adopt our puppies.
