If you have any questions, you are welcome to send me a brief initial email. We will have to speak over the phone. A personal introduction and conversation is a crucial part of my interview process.

Third party inquiries are unacceptable. I do not allow any Renaissance Havanese to be purchased in order to be given to other owners as a surprise gift.

Please ask all the questions, do all the research and take all the time you need to decide if  I meet all your expectations as a breeder and/or if a Havanese is right for you and your lifestyle.  You should be confident in your decision BEFORE you proceed to our approval process. For instance, if price is your main concern, then the Havanese breed is not for you. Anyone who overlooks health testing and reputability of a breeder due to price is making a mistake that will likely cost more in the long run. 

As part of my responsibility to each puppy, I must conduct a brief interview, to ascertain if you your family would be a good fit for a puppy. This is a two way conversation, I want you to learn about me as well.

If we agree that you should proceed through the process, you will be invited to fill out the Puppy Questionnaire. This will cover anything I may have missed during our conversation. Once your submission is reviewed, you will be contacted within hours with a decision.

If your family is approved. Then, it is then your opportunity to approve me. I will provide you with references.If you decide that I am indeed the right Havanese breeder to provide that new addition to your family, then I will ask for your commitment to me.

 A non-refundable deposit of $600 will be required to reserve your place on our wait list. The Deposit Contract will outline the terms in detail and will be provided for your review.

Your signed Deposit Contract and deposit check should be received by Renaissance Havanese within three (3) business days, please keep in mind that a spot on our wait list will be reserved in your name, while we wait for your deposit.  If we do not hear from you and/or your deposit is not received within the three day period, we will assume you are no longer interested and will be forced to cancel your reservation, so that we may offer it to another approved family.

This is our process, plain and simple, you will find no surprises here. Everything is outlined in great detail, so that there is never room for misunderstandings.

If we choose one another. A wonderful journey begins for the entire family. You will get to know your puppy from birth through ten weeks old by receiving regular videos, photographs and email updates. I will provide you with educational information, puppy supply lists and reminders so that we are always on the same page and to ensure that the entire process, even after your puppy arrives home, is a wonderful one.
