It would be irresponsible to breed for the sake of having "inventory". I prefer to have a list of approved families waiting to adopt puppies BEFORE they come into the world. I strongly encourage you to screen me and join the wait list, so that you may have the option of choosing a puppy from one of our limited litters. A responsible Havanese owner, chooses a responsible Havanese breeder! Keep in mind that a happy, healthy puppies should be worth your wait! Please visit the available puppies page.
Effective immediately, Renaissance Havanese will no longer offer the Allergy Agreement during peak allergy seasons (spring & fall) if you or a family member suffers from both pet and seasonal allergies. This is will assure a fair assessment. All show dogs at Renaissance are owner handled, this means that instead of paying a professional handler, we do our own training, grooming, traveling and representing of each of our show dogs. At the end of the day we can truly be proud for all of our hard work!
The professional handler is a true artist and indeed a "dog whisperer", we just choose to work beside them and learn from them. Showing is a team effort in our family and great fun too!
Consider this: Is it worth it to you, to pay more for a pure bred Havanese puppy, if you knew that a breeder was responsible enough to confirm the health of the parents before breeding and producing a puppy? We make the investment because care. When it comes to health testing , Don't take 'no' for an answer.
